Event Details

bada is a new platform that allows developers to create feature-rich applications that elevate the user experience in the Samsung mobile environment. With millions of devices available by the end of the year, the platform offers application developers a huge global marketplace and the APIs to access to key components on the platform as well as network based bada services. The bada workshop is a full day hands-on session that will cover everything from the basics of working in the bada SDK to advanced graphics development on the bada platform. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to build a basic application as well as develop key user experiences on the bada platform using input and output methods, displaying lists and forms, accessing social networking services, using location based services and accessing media files and players. Use this great opportunity to get answers about the new Samsung mobile platform from a bada expert so you can begin your application development right away!

Workshop requirements: Please bring your own laptop with the bada SDK 1.0 downloaded and installed. You can download the bada SDK with your developer account here
